The Gas Line

The Sabal Trail Transmission Company is planning a new 600-mile natural gas pipeline.

It begins at the northernmost and central part of Florida, cuts through the center of our state and ends at the central east coast.

The exact path of the pipeline has not been announced, but landowners throughout these impacted communities need to understand that this is a public interest project.

That means the government can take your property to make room for the pipeline.

But, they have to fairly compensate you.

But what’s fair? Who decides the value? What rights do you have and how do you make sure you are fairly compensated?
